     Welcome to the rail lines of the Niagara Region.
     On these pages you find documentation of existent trackage and non-existent trackage located within this area covering mileages, pictures and a little history.
     The term 'PRESENT' in the date within the mileage charts refers to the latest timetable in effect.
     CN Timetable # 59 - January 1, 2005 and CP Timetable # 81 - July 25, 2004 are the last ones I have data from.
     The timetable data for the other railroads is gathered from the Canadian Trackside Guide 1995 - 2007.
     There is a new CN TT from 2007, but have not seen it.

     On June 4, 2009, the NI RTC desk was abolished into DS's desk.
     In early December 2012, I was advised that Niagara train movement was passed on to YO's desk.
     Two rail lines in Niagara, that I have never covered is the NS&T Falls Division, that ran betwee Niagara Falls and St. Catharines/Thorold, and the other line, I am not sure who owned it, but it ran between roughly Stanley Avenue, north to Niagara-on-the-Lake.
