TRAIN PHOTOS

The following slideshows contain photos of railway locomotive and caboose action in the Niagara Region, the Golden Horseshoe and southwestern Ontario.

Since removing my photos pages of diesels and cabooses several years ago (not the ROSTER pages), I moved them to these pages below, and made them into several slideshows. I was accumulating too many pages to control.

Originally, after the photos were put into slideshows, I didn't like the idea of the slideshows program having no control of the order or repeating photos that were already displayed. I have since converted the slideshows into a format that photos can't be repeated.

I have also changed the visual layout of this page. There are now 150 photos per page. Each slideshow notifies you of when you have viewed all of the photos in the respected slideshow.

There is one thing I have wanted to comment on for quite some time about the text that goes along with the photos within these pages. Beside the photos, you may think that the text seems so rediculously worded... Such as Blah blah blah is seen at CP Welland yard on the CP Hamilton Subdivision ... or wherever. It may seem so obvious to local railfans and those who understand the ownerships of these tracks. The reason I have chosen to word the comments this way is that down the road, not knowing what will happen, anything is possible. One railroad may change ownership of a line to a shortline and I have chosen to do it this way to help identify, down the road, who's line it was at the time of capturing the moment on film if anything ever happens. Who knows....
