Operations on this line....

The CN Talbot Subdivision is the former trackage of the London and Port Stanley Railway.
The CN Talbot Subdivision sees only a few trains a day. They are NS 327, 328 and possibly the odd CN local train.
After the London & Port Stanley was taken over by CN, the CN Talbot Subdivision was created. It ran between London, at the Jct. to the CN Dundas Subdivision and Port Stanley.
CN operated on this line out of London as far south as the south end of St. Thomas, due to a washout on the line.
After that, the CN Talbot Subdivision was shortened to the Jct. of the present CN Caso Subdivision in St. Thomas. The mile or so trackage south of the CN Caso Subdivision became the CN Talbot Spur as far south as mile 16.9 .
The trackage south of St. Thomas wasn't used for a few years until the Port Stanley Terminal Railway fixed the trackage around 1990 and began operations on the old CN Talbot Subdivision between St. Thomas and Port Stanley.
On December 30, 2006, NS 328 headed for Buffalo, NY. for the last time with two light units. Since late 1995 or early 1996, NS ran the CN Talbot Subdivision, operating NS 328 and 328. The contract to service the Ford plant in Talbotville ended. After about 107 or so years of Wabash, N & W and NS activity in the St. Thomas area, NS ceased to exist in Canada, except for NS 369, which still interchanges with CN at Fort Erie on the CN Stamford Subdivision.
